Considering In-Home Lessons?

Prefer learning in the comfort of your own home? Le Chat Savant French Tutoring offers private, in-home French lessons for students in Northwest Calgary and select surrounding communities.

In-home lessons provide a personalized learning experience tailored to each student's goals, age, learning style, and current level of French.

All new students receive a complimentary Meet & Greet. This initial consultation allows us to discuss learning goals, assess current abilities, and develop a tutoring plan.

Our rates start at $40.00 for a 30-minute lesson and $69.00 per hour. A minimum commitment of eight (8) lessons is required. Lessons take place on a pre-arranged day and time each week unless otherwise agreed upon. A cancellation policy applies.

All lessons must be prepaid by e-Transfer. Prices are subject to change at any time and may be adjusted based on each client's individual circumstances. Applicable GST may be added.

Please contact us to discuss your needs and determine whether in-home tutoring is the right fit for you or your child.

How to get started.

Reach out to Le Chat Savant French Tutoring through our contact form. If you are a parent inquiring about your child, please include as many details as possible so we can provide the most helpful response. If we feel we’re a good fit for your child’s needs, we’ll schedule a complimentary in-home Meet & Greet.

We’ll visit your home to meet the family and get to know your child. We’ll ask a few simple questions in French to assess their level (don’t worry, there are no wrong answers!). We’ll also go over pricing, availability, and next steps. There is absolutely no obligation on either side to commit to lessons. Our priority is building a strong connection with your child, and that starts with making sure we’re the right fit. Our decisions are always based on fit.

Set up a quiet, comfortable space in your home where your child can focus without distractions (such as TV, the kitchen, siblings, or pets). We’ll arrive at the same day and time each week for consistency. After every lesson, you’ll receive a summary through our app so you can stay in the loop. .
